Holiday Cottage Thoddoo, Maldives

Comfortable room but cleaning could definitely use some improvement.

We were happy to find coco mero restaurant 200 m away, where we could eat. Generally service was terrific! Room met every demand. No complaints considering excellent prices.

A rollercoaster of pros and cons

The hospitality was very nice, with staff ensuring our comfort and providing complimentary refreshments. Cycling equipment and snorkeling gear were readily available.

The TV in the room was out of order, which limited entertainment options during downtime. There wasn't much variety in meal options, so it could get repetitive after a few days.

The location is ideal, close to the beach and local eateries! Ali was very accommodating, providing personalized meal options (the fresh seafood was good!). Laundry services were reliable, ensuring all our clothes were super clean.

Amazing Hospitality and Delicious Food

They welcomed us with fresh coconuts and arranged everything from snorkeling gear to tasty meals, including a fantastic Maldivian breakfast. The outdoor shower was a unique touch that I loved, and the complimentary bicycles made it easy to explore the beautiful island. I wished the TV had worked, but it didn't bother us much given how good everything else was.

At this hotel, we found great value for money with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location, near an agri farm, added a quaint charm. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, always friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with lovely partial uncovered rain showers and brand new facilities. The king-size bed and air-conditioning ensured a restful stay. The breakfast included at this hotel was delicious and satisfying.

The room was really clean and just the right size - not too cramped. 👌 Would totally suggest staying here. They had a good selection of breakfast items to choose from. the location was super convenient, close to everything we wanted to check out.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

Stayed here for New Year's Eve with my best friend and it was a mixed experience. The dinner was exquisite, with a great variety of dishes, all beautifully presented. , the location was ideal, just a short walk from the beach and main attractions. The room had a charming, traditional feel to it, with lovely wooden furniture.

The staff was not very helpful, and most of them seemed disinterested in our requests. The bathroom was not up to our expectations either, with a strong sewage smell that was very unpleasant.

Friendly and caring staff who were willing to assist us with all our needs. the location of the hotel was perfect, being only a short walk away from the beautiful white sandy beach. the breakfast was very delicious and we loved that they were willing to prepare meals for vegetarians. Snorkeling equipment was available, free of charge, which was very convenient for us.

In the evening there was not much to do on the island.

The deluxe rooms at Holiday Cottage Thoddoo are simply amazing! The spacious room area with an attached bathroom provides ultimate comfort. What I loved the most was the open air shower, allowing me to enjoy the fresh air while getting refreshed. It was a truly unique experience!

One thing I personally liked less was the size of the room in comparison to the largest and most luxurious rooms in Holiday Grand. But hey, it's just my subjective opinion and others might still find it enjoyable!

Like seriously, we had the time of our lives! The beach was incredible, with these amazing sand banks that we could walk on and the water was like crystal clear, I'm not even joking. And the best part was all the freaking activities they had! Water skiing, banana boat, wakeboarding, you name it! Plus, they had free WiFi so we could stay connected and make all our friends jelly. Total satisfaction, no doubt!

Alright, if I had to find something to complain about , I'd say that they could have had like more fun stuff for us young party-going peeps. Don't get me wrong, the beach and water sports were lit, but maybe like some beach parties or even a bar would have been epic.

I had an very nice stay at this hotel on a beautiful island. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing me with bicycle rentals to easily explore the area including the fine white sandy beach and nearby dive shop. The cleanliness of the hotel exceeded my expectations and the location within walking distance to Sunset Bikini beach was unbeatable. the hotel facilities were great, offering delicious breakfast options and convenient parking.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in the Maldives. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The hotel itself was clean and spacious, and my room had brand new facilities, including a lovely rain shower and a comfortable bed. The air-conditioning kept me cool throughout my stay. And the best part? Breakfast was included in the price!

Everything was more than ok.

With the free bikes available, it's easy to explore the island and discover its lush vegetation and fresh produce.

The hotel doesn't offer much in terms of entertainment or activities on the island.
